For more than four decades, CROW has cared for sick and injured wildlife in the area. After rehabilitating the animals, CROW releases them back into the wild. Visitors can tour the 4,800-square-foot wildlife hospital and facility to see some of the great work they do for local animals.
Located on a 12.5-acre campus on Sanibel Island, CROW’s wildlife hospital features state-of-the-art facilities, two modern examination rooms, a surgery suite, a lab for diagnostics, and additional rehabilitation spaces. Offering specialized recovery for baby animals, a small aquarium for aquatic life, and a reptile room, CROW is a great place to see rabbits, turtles, water birds, and other amazing Florida fauna get back on their feet (and paws).
